Altitude of vineyards: approximately 400 m above sea level

Type of terrain: mainly sandy terrain with presence of stones and rocks

South-West exposure

Training system: Classic Guyot

Max production/ha: 72 quintals/ha

Vinification: with maceration of the skins for approximately 20-25 days in stainless steel

Ageing: two years in large Slovenian oak barrels

Wine with great personality and structure that improves after a few years in the bottle.

Color: garnet red, with ruby nuances, tending towards orange

Aroma: complex and ethereal, with hints of vanilla, cinnamon and green pepper

Taste: dry, austere, but velvety, with hints of liquorice, harmonious, complete

Alcohol: 14-14.5% vol. (the percentage of alcohol varies according to the vintage)

Pairings: mainly with red meats, game, braised meats and cheeses

seasoned.

Serving temperature: 17-18 C°
